We have gotten a little behind on our anniversary posts recently. However, we still love celebrating our employees! This post is highlighting our employees who have had anniversaries in the last month! First we have Dan Reed from our production department, who celebrated his 12 year anniversary! Then we have Melena Lara from our accounting department, celebrating her 16 year anniversary. Johnny Sweatt from our maintenance department is celebrating his 1 year with SLSB and Doug Reno, one of our lead boltmakers is celebrating 4 years. We appreciate all of their hard work for SLSB and we cannot wait for many more years with all of them!

This past Friday, we hosted our first ever Chili cook off!! 12 people brought in all different kind of chilis for everyone else to taste. There were all sorts of chili ranging from white chili to kimchi chili to regular chili. We had a great time testing everyone chilis and voting on the overall best, most unique, meatiest, and spiciest. At the end of the voting, the 4 people pictured were the winners of our first chili cookoff!

Say hello to our new Safety Brigade! These individuals have committed to being our first responders in the case an accident arises here. They also have committed to keeping SLSB a safe work environment and they will be continuing their safety training. We appreciate the dedication these individuals have shown to making SLSB safer!
