Steel erection projects are recognized for demonstrating complexity or unusual conditions, or that conquered issues and barriers requiring special management team action or performance. Since its inception in 2004, this recognition of productivity, safety, and engineering has grown from just a handful of nominations to more than 30 annually. “We have quality entries in all four categories representing projects from The Rocky’s to Virginia, New York to the Gulf States,” said Alan Sears, Project of the Year Committee Chairman. On Friday, April 29, companies receiving awards in each of the four contract classes will show-and-tell these interesting jobs to convention attendees.
