New Strategic Partnership for Buckner Steel Erection and American Steel & Precast Erectors, Assets of Steel Performance Acquired Buckner Steel Erection (BSE) and American Steel & Precast Erectors (ASPE) have entered into a strategic partnership. While not a purchase or merger, both companies gain resources, knowledge, and support. Joshua Cilley remains President of ASPE and will also become President at Buckner Steel Erection. Doug Williams will remain the CEO of Buckner Companies as well as the new steel venture, with Michael Holt acting as CFO and COO. This partnership relates to the steel erection division of Buckner Companies only. In related new, BSE and ASPE will acquire the assets of Steel Performance Inc. (SPI), Greensboro, N.C. This agreement brings a third company to the strategic partnership team. "It is an honor to work with Butch and Charlie Johnson (founders of SPI) as they retire from a lifetime dedicated to the steel erection industry," said Doug Williams. Butch Johnson, President of SPI, will work directly with Cilley to assure smooth transition on all SPI contracted jobs.
