Education Fundraiser Golf Tournament Returns to Lonnie Poole Golf Course SEAA’s 17th annual golf tournament, benefitting Ironworker Craft Training grants and other educational projects, will be held Oct. 7. Prior to the start of the Captain’s Choice style tournament, golfers will attend a short information session about the SEAA/NCCER Ironworker Craft Training and Apprenticeship program. The tournament is open to all steel erectors, fabricators, detailers, engineers, general contractors, architects, suppliers, and manufacturers that support the steel erection industry. You do not have to be a member to play. Member fee: $175, Non-Member fee: $200 The tournament will be held at the Lonnie Poole Golf Course on the Centennial Campus of North Carolina State University located in Raleigh, N.C. This course was designed by the Arnold Palmer Design Company and is rated one of the Best Campus Courses by Golfweek Magazine. This venue is located within 20 minutes of the Raleigh-Durham Airport. Golfers of all skill levels are encouraged to participate in the scramble. Awards will be presented for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place teams, longest drive, closest to the pin, Hole-In-One and for a putting contest. In addition, purchase your Boom Lift Ball Drop raffle tickets in advance for a chance at 50% of the cash pot. Tournament fees include lunch, green fees, cart, range balls, beverages and snacks on the course, and dinner.
